Median servo hydraulic test systems have a force capacity ranging from 50 kN to 600 kN. These test systems are useful for testing materials under room temperature and high temperature. For elevated temperature testing, up to or in excess of 1000 °C, different types of furnaces that can be integrated with the machine are available; also available are environmental chambers that are useful over the temperature range of -100 to 350 °C. Tension, compression, Low-cycle fatigue and High cycle fatigue behavior of materials can be evaluated following the standards such as ASTM and ISO; fracture and fatigue crack growth behavior can also be evaluated. Different types of control modes such as load, displacement and strain control are possible.
Each system is equipped with state of the art BISS make controller with feedback channels for logging and monitoring outputs from strain gages, extensometers and COD gages.
